The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) measures a student’s developed verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities. It is designed to predict success in the first year of college and supplements the studen’s secondary school record. SAT scores range from 200–800. According to the SAT publisher, scores tend to decline with higher participation rates. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) participation rate has been avove 60% for the past two years. In 2002 it jumped to a new high of 68% from 64% in 2001. |
