The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) measures a students developed verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities. It is designed to predict success in the first year of college and supplements the students secondary school record. SAT scores range from 200800. According to the SAT publisher, scores tend to decline with higher participation rates. The participation rate for DoDDS Pacific schools (Guam, Japan, Korea, and Okinawa) is substantially higher than the nation. |
