CTB TerraNova Results

2002 Terra Nova
Top and Bottom Results

Each year DoDDS students are tested in grades 3–11 with the TerraNova standardized achievement test. The results for 2002 provide the achievement baseline for the new Community Strategic Plan which set forth two long-term goals:

that fewer than 8% of DoDEA students would score in the bottom national quarter (bottom 25% nationally), and

that more than 75% of DoDEA students would score in the top two national quarters (top 50% nationally).

The tables below provide the baseline results. The column headed “Nation” provides the national percentage.

DoDDS Pacific schools are well positioned to meet Goal #4—having fewer than 8% of their students in the bottom 25%  nationwide. A greater challenge exists with regard to having 75% of our students above the national average.
