Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC)

Welcome! The Walter Reed Army Medical Center as leaders in clinical research generates the largest number of ongoing clinical research studies within the Department of Defense (DOD); often referred to as the flagship of DOD clinical research. The Department of Clinical Investigation (DCI) oversees the majority of this research. If you have research support needs such as training and protocol templates, use the DCI link for these resources. Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR)

The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) is the largest and most diverse biomedical research laboratory in the Department of Defense. Their resources include a laboratory in Maryland that was dedicated in September 2001, a specialized detachments in Texas and Illinois, and laboratory and clinical facilities in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
