In-House Resource Collection A few examples of the more than 500 educator resources available at the FISC St. Petersburg office. The resources, which are indexed in a searchable database and have been vetted by educators, range from activity sheets to stand-alone lessons, posters, and pamphlets. The collection covers topics such as marine and coastal science, biology, geology, and geography and mapping. The educational resources collection includes a wealth of U.S. Geological Survey publications, fact sheets and other materials and is supplemented by materials from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), and others.
