Finland and the United Kingdom have each been declared a foreign reciprocating country or FRC for child support enforcement purposes by the United States pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 659A authority.

El Salvador, Hungary, Saskatchewan and the Yukon Territory have each been declared a ¿foreign reciprocating country¿ or FRC for child support enforcement purposes by the United States pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 659A authority.

It has come to our attention that some local jurisdictions are unaware of the requirement to provide cost-free service of process to countries that have Federal-level agreements with the U.S. This issue has specifically arisen with regard to processing Norwegian cases. We would appreciate it if you could emphasize to local jurisdictions in your state that service of process must be provided cost-free for FRCs.

The Department of State on October 6 published a public notice in the Federal Register announcing Federal level child support reciprocity agreements now in effect with Switzerland and the additional Canadian jurisdictions of New Brunswick, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories.

The Slovak Republic has asked the Office of Child Support Enforcement to inform state IV-D agencies who are experiencing difficulties sending collections electronically using the SWIFT network to send payments directly to custodial parents until more efficient methods of funds transfer are identified.

Poland has asked the Office of Child Support Enforcement to inform state IV-D agencies of changes in procedures for transferring payments through US Money Express Co. (formerly PEKAO Trading Company) to obligees residing in Poland.

The Slovak Republic has informed the Office of Child Support Enforcement that it can no longer accept child support collections sent by paper check from state IV-D agencies. This DCL provides instructions for states to send collections by SWIFT (Society for Worldwide International Financial Telecommunication) wire transfer to the Slovak Republic.
