The Product Coordination Branch at HDC works with both customers and engineers, managing HDC's workload and holding everything together, while maintaining positive and successful customer relationships for HDC. 

The Product Coordination Branch Chief is John  Etzel.

A new auto-venting turbine being installed during the Rehab of J. Strom Thurmond Power Plant.

 

Product Coordinators act as a single point of contact for customers and see each project through from the beginning of work until the project is completed.

Product Coordinators are assigned regional work areas across the nation from the Pacific, Central and Atlantic regions. Examples of HDC projects can be viewed by clicking on the region links.

The PC Branch completes the follow types of work:

  • Manages HDC’s various tasks and jobs as the center’s internal project managers.
  • Coordinates and prepares scopes, schedules and budgets for each task or job.
  • Monitors schedule and costs and assures effective progress of jobs.
  • Interfaces with the client District’s Project Managers.
  • Finalizes specification packages.
  • Coordinates with customer Districts and partners to help develop out-year programs.
  • Represents HDC in meetings with customers, partners, stakeholders and interested parties. 
  • Assists management and resource providers in assessing resourcing needs and staffing.
