Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Regional Marketing Director

Summary: The Marketing Coordinator provides marketing, business development and public relations support to the particular offices and regions and coordinates firm-wide initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities: • Coordinate all internal requests for marketing material, new business proposals, and reprints of attorney publications • Manage and maintain relationships with local vendors for premiums and printing including negotiating costs and contracts • Coordinate development and placement of advertising • Assist in design of custom marketing materials as needed, including new practice brochures, or promotional materials for events and seminars • Coordinate posting of internal and external communications, content and announcements to the firm Intranet and external website • Plan client seminars, programs and similar activities and drive follow-up efforts to achieve positive results. Counsel practice groups as to content, audience and follow-up for all seminars. • Manage sponsorship of events, joint seminars and programs including assessing opportunities, coordinating follow-up, preparing materials, and handling advertising needs. • Manage new attorney promotion and marketing integration by strategizing with new attorneys on appropriate promotional efforts. Write and distribute firm/attorney announcements and releases. • Write and maintain regional and PG resumes and Martindale Hubble biographies for attorneys and professionals • Facilitate special marketing efforts including direct mail campaigns • Manage newsletter and alert distribution including reviewing content, determine clients and contact lists for target audience, manage distribution with outside vendors • Coordinate development and dissemination of all client mailings including issues alerts, announcements, etc.

Qualifications: Strong client service mentality and approach. Ability to establish immediate credibility with attorneys, staff and others. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to motivate and guide strong personalities. Well-developed research, analysis, presentation and interpersonal skills required. Must be proficient in utilizing software for word processing, presentations, spreadsheet, database management, and research. Must be able to plan, implement, coordinate and manage to identify results. Requires flexibility and adaptability in a competitive business and professional environment.

Experience: • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related discipline. • 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in professional service marketing.

Specific tasks for serving the region and practice groups include: • Maintain inventory of all firm collateral materials and promotional items and gifts. • Complete surveys and listings • Coordinate photos for all professionals in office for use in Marketing collateral • Coordinate development of practice and industry specific mailing lists in Interaction • Assist in development of attorney presentations at industry seminars • Support new attorney orientation program • Develop new attorney announcements, coordinate the preparing of mailing list and distribution • Maintain regional and PG resumes and Martindale Hubble biographies • Internally promote region and PGs media appearances and speaking opportunities

Marketing Administrative Assistant

170011 Marketing Administrative Assistant Reports to: Marketing Director Coticelli, JenniferO. WAS Assist Department with day-to-day operations such as answering phones, and providing clerical and administrative assistance.

Primary Responsibilities: Maintain departmental file system. Handle all departmental check requests and maintain department financial records. Coordinate and maintain the marketing project database and prepare project reports.

Tasks Performed: Maintain and update attorney directories. Prepare firm’s response to survey requests. Coordinate attendance at firm sponsored events such as Walnut Street Theater, and charitable events. Order and monitor Department supplies. Assist with various projects and events. Coordinate with the graphics coordinator the preparation and placement of advertisements. Desired Education: College degree preferred but not required. Experience with contact databases would be helpful, but not required. Experience in legal industry or professional service firm preferred.

Key Relationships: Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to handle responsibilities and assist Department in daily operations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Service mentality to internal and external clients. Must be proficient in Microsoft products specifically Word and Excel.
