Public Information Meeting on Wells Lock
HUNTINGTON, W.Va.... The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection will conduct a public information meeting regarding the Wells Lock Feasibility study on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wirt County Courthouse in Elizabeth, W.Va.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the study and to solicit input from the public for items to be evaluated, such as the need to either remove or renovate the structure and the potential impacts of various alternatives.
