H. Con. Res. 174—The Sense of the Congress Regarding Fertility Issues Facing Cancer Survivors

On June 8, 2005, Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC) introduced H. Con. Res. 174, expressing the sense of the Congress regarding fertility issues facing cancer survivors. The measure calls for NIH to encourage research that will strengthen fertility preservation technologies for cancer patients, continue to consider ways to improve access to fertility preservation options for cancer patients, and endeavor to raise awareness about the fertility side effects and fertility preservation options for cancer patients. H. Con. Res. 174 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
