Engineering for Water Resources Planning
Learning Objectives:
- To identify the types of water resources structures used for various purposes, including flood control, navigation, water supply, hydropower production, channel maintenance and environmental restoration.
- To describe the types of engineering investigations needed to plan, design, construct, and operate water resources structures.
- To describe the emerging challenges for water infrastructure including maintenance, rehabilitation, decommissioning, and changing operational purposes.
