Effective immediately, the CIP program will accept a maximum of 20 ECIP applications at any given time from a single publisher. Once these are processed, publishers may submit more applications, but at no point will more than 20 be accepted.

ECIP applications in excess of 20 will not be processed.

Publishers with a need to submit more than 20 applications at once should consider the Electronic Preassigned Control Number (EPCN) program as an alternative.
