The Macdonald School Community welcomes you to Fort Knox and to our school! Our physical setting is conducive to our most important job, the teaching-learning process. We are located in a beautiful natural wooded area of the Fort Knox Army Post.
Our business day begins at 0730 and ends at 1600 hours.
Students hours are the following:
M, T, Th, F - 0830 to 1515 hrs
W - 0830 to 1400 hrs.
Our school serves Grades 4 through 6. We are sensitive to this age child and his/her needs. We offer many appropriate growth opportunities, both academic and extracurricular. Our basic academic programs, as well as our arts and physical education programs, are first rate and designed to meet individual needs and aptitudes.
Parents are considered an essential component in the equation for each student's success. We expect them to play an active role in their child's education.

STUDENT PLEDGE
I come to school to learn. I support the right of my teachers to teach so all students can learn.
I will be respectful.
I will be responsible.
I will come to school prepared to learn.
By making good behavior choices, I will be a successful, cooperative Macdonald School student who brings honor to my family, my school and myself.
SCHOOL SONG
Macdonald is my kind of place,
A math and science place.
Project Aware, you know,
A place to really grow!
Macdonald is my kind of place,
A learning, caring place.
Macdonald is my kind of place! Rah!
