The National Child Care Information and Technical Assistance Center (NCCIC), a service of the Child Care Bureau, is a national clearinghouse and technical assistance (TA) center that provides comprehensive child care information resources and TA services to Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Administrators and other key stakeholders. Specific services include the following:
- Question and answer services
- NCCIC Library and Web site
- Publication development and distribution
- TA and training delivery to State and Territory CCDF Administrators
Who NCCIC Serves
NCCIC responds to requests from CCDF Administrators and other policymakers, national organizations, early care and school-age professionals, businesses, and the general public. Special services are provided to States, Territories, and Tribes.

NCCIC staff research your questions and connect you with information on topics such as:
- Literacy
- Funding and financial assistance
- Current research and promising practices
- Professional development systems and activities
- Child care licensing regulations
- Partnerships across early childhood sectors
- State, Territorial, and Tribal program activities

Publications
NCCIC develops and disseminates the quarterly Child Care Bulletin, a summary of State and Territory child care plans and policies, and other publications about key child care issues.
NCCIC Library and Web Site
