Expeditionary Workforce |
June 12, 2008 We are busy executing a huge program at Afghanistan Engineer District. We will probably exceed $2.0 billion in contract awards this fiscal year. That will bring my total program to around $4.0 billion. We are constructing new facilities for the Afghan National Police and the Afghan National Army. We also have a number of projects for the Army and Air Force at Bagram Air Field. I am working as the Chief of Engineering and Construction for AED. We are executing this workload through 8 Area Offices and 22 Resident Offices. I have around 120 U.S. employees in my field offices and an additional 170 local national employees who help provide oversight of construction. Russell Holeman |
