On June 19, 2003, the House Committee on Government Reform reported by voice vote H. Con. Res. 6, a resolution supporting the goals and ideals of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Awareness Month. The bill was introduced by Representative Cliff Stearns (R-FL) on January 7.
