Beat Flu Now!
Late Season Vaccination Activities

Beat Flu Now! Get Vaccinated.Flu activity (cases of influenza disease) is just starting to pick up in the U.S. and could continue into April or May.

If you haven’t gotten a flu vaccine yet, getting vaccinated now can still provide you protection from the flu for the remainder of the flu season. Vaccine is still available.

Remember that children younger than 9 years old who received their first flu vaccine this season should have a second dose 4 or more weeks after the first dose. Recent studies have shown that one dose of vaccine does not fully protect children younger than 9 who are being vaccinated against flu for the first time. Follow-up with your pediatrician or local health department to make sure your child is fully immunized against the flu.

In addition to a flu vaccine, there are other ways to protect yourself and your family from the flu.
