It takes the collective experience of many people, working as a team, to deliver effective solutions on time and within budget but Human Services programs are constantly evolving. Existing systems, many built decades ago, are often unable to successfully deal with both the pace of change and the innovation required. New technologies hold promise but must be applied in a practical manner. When we consider that systems deployed today stand a good chance of existing in the Year 2010 and beyond, it makes good sense to plan accordingly.

Technology Fabrication Projects Guide Construct needed technology solutions - building anew, repairing the old, or migrating IT assets to a more capable platform - integrating the old with the new.

Technology Deployment Guide Construct needed technology solutions - building anew, repairing the old, or migrating IT assets to a more capable platform - integrating the old with the new.

Technical Operations Guide Use the technology to serve the HS Agency mission, keep it operating efficiently, and continuously collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Consolidated Definitions and References A consistent set of terms, process framework definitions and references apply across all the IT Planning and Management Guides. An initial set of resources such as templates, samples, checklists, and other items are also provided to implement the activities defined by the process framework for each guide.
