May 20, 2008 Regulations.gov Is a 2008 Web Managers Best Practice Award Finalist The Web Managers Best Practice Award recognizes federal Web sites that have done an outstanding job of making it easy for their customers to complete their most important task online. The winners and finalists were honored at a ceremony held during the 2008 Government Web Managers Conference on May 5 and 6 in Arlington, Virginia. The award and conference are sponsored by the interagency Web Managers Advisory Council. May 14, 2008 Enhancements to Regulatory Agenda on Regulations.gov The Regulatory Agenda, published every spring and fall, provides uniform reporting of data on regulatory and deregulatory activities under development throughout the Federal Government. The Regulatory Agenda is accessible on Regulations.gov, and now contains enhanced search and tracking features, including the ability for users to search multiple publication periods within Federal agencies, and the ability to link to rulemaking documents that share the same Regulatory Identifier Number (RIN) on the system. May 5, 2008 Department of Treasury (TREAS) Deleted Data On February 14, 2007, the Department of Treasury (TREAS) was implemented on Regulations.gov. The following documents are not accepting comments TREAS Removal Reports and were removed from Regulations.gov. You can continue to access these documents at GPOaccess page. January 15, 2008 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Deleted Data On January 15, 2008, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was implemented on Regulations.gov. The following documents are not accepting comments FDA Data Migration Report and have been temporarily removed from Regulations.gov as part of FDA's data migration activities. You can continue to access these Federal Register documents at GPOaccess page. Attention: The temporarily deleted FDA documents will continue to appear in the search results on Regulations.gov until Monday, January 21, 2008. Selecting a document link for such an FDA document will result in an error page. The Regulations.gov search index will be updated the weekend of January 19, 2008 to resolve this issue. Once this update is complete, Regulations.gov search results will no longer display the deleted FDA documents. Please contact the FDMS Help Desk if you have any questions about FDA's data migration. December 28th, 2007 On December 28th, 2007, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) was implemented on Regulations.gov. In preparation for their data migration the following documents NRC Data Removal Reports were removed from Regulations.gov and are no longer accepting comments. You can continue to access these documents at GPOaccess page. December 21, 2007 The all-new Regulations.gov 2.0 features a powerful new search engine and a re-designed homepage that makes searching, commenting and accessing other site features quicker and easier.

December 10, 2007 Fish and Wildlife Services (FWS) Deleted Data On December 10th, the Fish and Wildlife Services (FWS) was implemented on Regulations.gov. October 8, 2007 eRulemaking Selected as 2007 GCN Agency Award Winner The eRulemaking Program's Federal Docket Management System (which includes Regulations.gov) was named one of 12 projects that exemplify the success that results from combining vision and IT innovations with an attention to detail and a willingness to collaborate. October 5, 2007 On October 8th, 2007, the Minerals Management Service (MMS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) were implemented on Regulations.gov. The following documents are not accepting comments and were removed from Regulations.gov. MMS and BLM removal Reports. You can continue to access these documents at GPO access page. September 30, 2007 Department of Transportation's Docket Management System migrated to FDMS On September 30, 2007, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Homeland Security's, United States Coast Guard and Transportation Safety Administration migrated to the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS) on the Regulations.gov web site. Prior to their migration to FDMS, these Agencies were serviced by DOT's Docket Management System (DMS). As a result of the migration, there are several process changes that differ from the procedures followed in DMS. Please access the document at 2007 Migration from DMS to Regulations.gov for instructions on how to perform unique DMS functions in FDMS. These questions and instructions will be continuously updated. You are encouraged to check this section frequently for updates. September 23, 2007 More Features Added to Regulations.gov

The eRulemaking Program was identified as a groundbreaking achievement on the road toward citizen-centered government and is transforming the regulatory development process across Federal Agencies.
