RSS Feed of Most Recent FR Information
 

A Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feature provides Regulations.gov users with the ability to receive the most recent additions to Regulations.gov from the daily Federal Register (FR) feed. The RSS icon (located at the bottom right of all Regulations.gov screens) is a link to the RSS file that identifies the recent additions (from the FR Feed) to Regulations.gov.

RSS content can be read using "RSS reader" software, also known as a "feed reader" or an "aggregator." Users subscribe to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.

To set up the RSS feed to Regulations.gov, you must first install an RSS reader. Learn more.

After you have installed an RSS reader, do the following to establish the RSS feed of FR information to Regulations.gov:

  1. Drag the RSS icon (located at the bottom right of all Regulations.gov screens) to your RSS reader.
  2. You will then be able to see new items from the FR on Regulations.gov. Those items will have active bookmarks to the document details page in Regulations.gov.
  3. The RSS reader will update itself when new items are published in the RSS XML file on Regulations.gov
