Luce Empty Case

The Luce Foundation Center is not a static space. Every so often SAAM's curators come and "shop" for artworks to be included in new exhibitions. The museum is currently expanding the folk art galleries on the first floor and as a result, nine folk paintings have been removed from Luce Center cases to be installed in their new home. Luce Center staff doesn’t mind too much when this happens, however, as it gives us the opportunity to explore SAAM's vast collections and make recommendations for which works should fill the gaps. Coming soon to the case seen here are Garden of Eden by Alexander Bogardy and ST LUKE 5-20… by Howard Finster.
