Skills and practices that support young children's reading, writing, and language development. Children are aged birth to 8 years.

Faith-based Initiatives

Activities and efforts to support children and families, which are hosted by non-secular organizations and institutions. These activities include faith-based practices, values, and principles.

Fatherhood

Activities and initiatives that support the important role of fathers in parenting. Resources also include the positive impact of fathers' engagment with their children on child outcomes.

Healthy Marriage

Activites that support healthy marriages and family stability and result in secure, nurturing environments for children.

Positive Youth Development

Activities and practices that support healthy growth and social, emotional, and cognitive development of older children and young adults.

Prevention

Activities and approaches that support positive parenting, healthy families, good health and safety practices, and appropriate caregiving to prevent negative developmental impacts on children.

Rural Families

Activities and initiatives that support the unique needs and features of rural families and their impact on child outcomes.

Welfare Reform

Resources related to efforts to support and facilitate family economic stability and decrease dependence on public benefits.
