Troubleshooting Tips

We invite you to use Sandia’s online process when applying for employment. While our online system provides a convenient way to submit your application and resume to Sandia, like many others, it can be sensitive to different computer configurations and browsers. Generally, our online process works best if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser and if your cache memory is as clean as possible.

In the event that you encounter difficulties using the system, below are some helpful tips. If problems persist, please contact one of our Human Resources (HR) Communications and Support staff via the contact information below.

Website Maintenance

Sandia’s corporate employment website is offline for maintenance every Tuesday evening between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. MST. During this time, users will be unable to access the website.

Web Browsers

Internet Explorer is the best browser to use while visiting the corporate employment website. If you receive an error message, try closing your browser completely, reopening your browser, and trying to access the website again.

In addition, for optimal performance, the cache memory (temporary Internet files) should be as clean as possible.

Contacting HR Communications and Support

If you encounter errors or difficulties when using the online Sandia Careers web application, follow the steps outlined above. However, if the problem persists, please contact one of our HR Communications and Support staff: Mike Kline or Colin Scroggins.

Please be ready to answer the following questions so that the support staff can quickly determine the best course of action:

  1. What e-mail address did you use when registering on the website?
  2. What browser and which version are you using?
  3. Are you using a Mac or a PC? If you have a Mac, which OS are you using?
  4. What is the job reference number for the job posting that you were trying to apply for?
