Transatlantic Programs Center awards multiple architect-engineer contracts

(WINCHESTER, Va.) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Programs Center has awarded multiple contracts for general architect-engineer services that may be required in the Middle East, the Gulf, Central Asia and Africa.
    The contracts, awarded Dec. 13, 2008, went to Stanley Consultants of Muscatine, Iowa; Michael Baker, Jr., Inc., of Moon Township, Pennsylvania; Tetra Tech, Inc., of Framingham, Massachusetts; and CH2M Hill International Services, Inc., of Englewood, Colorado.
    The contracts are being awarded for one year and may be extended for up to four optional years at the government’s discretion. The maximum value for the entire contract action is $240 million to be shared among all contracts for the entire period of performance (up to five years). More

Fire Protection Technical Center

The Technical Center of Expertise (TCX) for Hangar Fire Protection provides fire protection engineering assistance to Corps offices involved in the design and construction of fire protection systems for aircraft hangars.
