This virtual multi-media exhibit celebrates Carl Sandburg, “Poet of the People”.  It examines his career as a poet, writer, historian biographer of Abraham Lincoln and social activist.

It highlights the last 22-years of his life residing at Connemara in Flat Rock, NC, including his wife, Paula Sandburg’s, contributions to the American dairy goat industry and her Grade A dairy operation.  The family’s achievements are viewed through personal belongings, awards and photographs, and his writings.
