I'm paying child support, but my tax refund is being offset
  Question
I pay regularly, but my tax refund is being offset. What can I do?
  Answer
States are required to submit cases for federal tax offset that meet the criteria described at http://www.acf.dhhs.gov/programs/cse/fct/cstrop.htm

If you believe you have been submitted in error, get in touch with the State contact on the notice you received informing you your case had been submitted. State CSE agency telephone numbers and addresses are at:
