Comments: This is a digital composite of two consecutive photos taken between 0940 and 0945 UT (0340 CST). The prints were scanned and combined in Adobe Photoshop. Photos were taken from a site 11 mi. east of Cleveland, Texas (about 50 mi. north of Houston). The color change in the two meteor streaks is not an artifact of the scan or print; they are also evident on the original negative. |
