Midwest Flooding

In response to the emergencies resulting from the midwest flooding, CMS is providing resources to ensure effective health care coverage and quality of care for beneficiaries. CMS will provide information that providers and beneficiaries can avail to meet the health needs in such a disastrous situation.

Information about Survey and Certification: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Survey and Certification Group (SCG) provides a webpage with useful information for CMS Central and Regional Offices, State Survey Agencies (SAs), their State, Tribal, Regional, and local emergency management partners, and health care providers, in developing effective and robust emergency plans and responses. While webpage uses an "all hazards" response format, the information provided can be used as guidance in the midwest flooding disaster.
