Ms. Jeannie A. Davis was selected to the Senior Executive Service in November 2001. Since November 2007, she is the Director of Human Resources for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She leads a team that performs civilian human resources program and policy development and military personnel administration for a command of approximately 32,000.
From March 2006 to November 2007, Ms. Davis served in the senior civilian human resources policy job for the Department of Army, responsible for developing all civilian human resources policy and programs for the agency. During this assignment, she also served as Acting Deputy Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel and, for approximately two months, the Acting Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel.
Ms. Davis’ initial assignment as a member of the Senior Executive Service was as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1 (Civilian Personnel) for U.S. Army Europe in Heidelberg, Germany. From November 2001 until March 2006, she led policy and program development and evaluation for civilian human resources covering US Citizens attached to U.S. Army Europe and Local Nationals of several countries.
