San Antonio, TX -- State and federal officials announce the opening of an additional Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to serve those affected by Tropical Storm Fay who live in the ten declared counties. The DRC will open on October 21-23 and will be located at:
Freeport DRC
200 West Second
Freeport, TX 77541
Open: Oct. 21-23
Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Personnel staffing the center can answer questions and provide recovery
information as well as written material about various assistance programs
available to individuals and business owners. Some disaster programs include
temporary housing assistance, individual and family grants, low interest
Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loans, disaster unemployment
assistance and crisis counseling.
Three DRCs remain open at the following locations:

The above Disaster Recovery Centers are open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
