The City of Biloxi has applied for funding under FEMA’s Public Assistance Program to construct a new Biloxi Public Works Complex. Funding is being provided in response to Hurricane Katrina (FEMA-1604-DR-MS). In according with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations implementing NEPA (44 CFR Part 10), an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the project on the environment.
