NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The state of Tennessee and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will operate a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center in Montgomery County for three days to assist residents affected by the severe storms and tornadoes of Feb. 5-6.

Monday, Feb. 18, from noon to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Before visiting the recovery center, disaster survivors should apply for assistance at (800) 621-FEMA (3362), TTY (800) 462-7585 or go online at www.fema.gov.

Services people can expect to receive at a DRC are:

When disaster-affected residents visit a DRC they should bring identification, social security numbers, insurance information, proof of address and contact phone numbers in order to help speed up the application process.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
