Texas City Disaster Recovery Center to Change Hours

AUSTIN, Texas -- The FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Mall of the Mainland in Texas City is changing its hours of operation.

Starting Dec. 1, the DRC will be open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays.  The center is located in Suite 1318 of the Mall of the Mainland, 10000 Emmett F. Lowery Expressway, Texas City, 77591.

Residents are encouraged to register with FEMA before visiting a center. There are two ways to register: log on to www.fema.gov or call FEMA's toll free number, 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or
TTY
1-800-462-7585 for the speech- and hearing-impaired. Both numbers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until further notice.
