Thank you, thank you for your support.  We met the match of $25,000 on December 17th, 11:00AM -- 2 1/2 days in advance of the deadline!!!

A SECOND CHALLENGE:  Our donor is so pleased to know that you and many Homeboy friends "pitched in" that the family is offering a SECOND MATCH of $25,000.  We have set the thermometer to ZERO and the NEW DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2009.

A THIRD CHALLENGE: The Los Angeles Host Lions Club (the nation's third oldest Lions Club) through the Lark Ellen Lions Charities has added $3,000 to the match fund, bringing THE TOTAL CHALLENGE TO $28,000. The Club's Past President, Gilbert Mares, presented the check and challenge to Fr. Greg on Friday, December 19.

These are critical funds for Homeboy.  With each gift, we can keep another youth employed, remove another tattoo, train another for outside jobs.
