Tulsa capped a second straight season with an impressive showing in the GMAC Bowl, this time routing Ball State 45-13. The Golden Hurricane jump ahead early and never looked back en route to a second consecutive double-digit win campaign.

The hits keep coming for Arkansas. Last week it was then-No. 4 Oklahoma. Tuesday, Texas became the second Top 10 ranked Big XII team to fall in Fayetteville. Penn State pulled off an upset of its own in the Big 10, knocking off No. 14 Purdue.

Meyer Ties NCAA Career Wins Mark

After leading by as many as 17 in the first half, Northern State University had to work to preserve a 63-58 win over host Upper Iowa University on Saturday, making history in the process. The win was coach Don Meyer's career 902nd win, tying him with Bob Knight for most all-time.

No. 5 Newberry College blew away the competition this weekend at the 38th Annual Midwest Classic, finishing with a combined team score of 149.5 points, 31 more than second place Wis.-Parkside. Josh Whitelock, who claimed the 174 championship, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler.
