Virginians Take Action Against Hunger
Now more than ever, hunger is a reality in Virginia and across America, with thousands of Virginians plagued by poverty. To help fight hunger, citizens can build partnerships with companies, industries, retail businesses and one another. Virginians can also donate money, time and effort to distribute food to needy families and individuals. Volunteer in your locality, or contact Action Against Hunger, Meals on Wheels or the Central Virginia Food Bank.
Hurricanes Still a Threat
Hurricane season continues through Nov. 30. Wherever you live in Virginia, you need to be prepared for a hurricane. Visit VAEmergency to find out more.
