Charlton County, GA, May 18, 2007 -- Firefighters have wrapped a historic property and installed an emergency sprinkler system fed by 'pumpkin' tanks to protect it from the Big Turnaround Fire. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has authorized four Fire Management Assistance Grants between April 18 and May 10, 2007, to help Georgia fight fires in four counties.
