CPR/AED Days 2009
What would you do if someone you loved collapsed and needed your help? CPR Training Days is an annual event that offers FREE CPR COURSES throughout Warrick County.
The event typically takes place in the spring and trains people how to save a life. The American Red Cross of Warrick County is offering the 2009 CPR Training Days at more locations and at more times than ever before. This will be an Adult CPR/AED course. The classes will be held at the VFW in Boonville on Saturday, June 6th from 8am to 12pm & in Newburgh at the La Veranda (across from Edgewater Grill) on Wednesday June 3rd.
For more information on CPR classes, register online or call the local chapter at 897-0390.

What Does a HERO Look Like?
HEROES are everywhere around us and Warrick County is blessed to have many HEROES. Tim Pierce, Warrick County Sheriff's Deputy is a true HERO. Deputy Pierce is a School Resource Officer in Warrick County and has participated in Warrick County Red Cross' HEROES Campaign since 2008. In 2008, Deputy Pierce challenged students at Castle High School to help him raise money for the HEROES Campaign and when they met their goal, he shaved his head as promised.
This year Deputy Pierce decided he would step up the challenge and partnered with Starbucks in Newburgh to offer the Castle High School first period class that could raise the most money for the HEROES Campaign a Starbucks Frappuccino Party. Congratulations to Lisa Muller's homeroom class!!
