Attorney
General Lisa Madigan works with law enforcement agencies and state’s
attorneys to ensure that our communities are safe places to live
and raise children.
As part of her commitment to community safety, Attorney General Madigan is working to increase the supervision of sex offenders, curb the spread of methamphetamine, provide training and education programs on high tech crimes, coordinate the Illinois Internet Child Exploitation Task Force, coordinate services to the immigrant population and unite all youth programs under one Youth Advocacy Initiative.
In addition, the Attorney General's office provides assistance to State's Attorneys across Illinois, prosecute cases developed by Office investigators and represent the state when in criminal appeals. |
