OPINIONS

Section 27.040 of the Missouri Revised Statutes authorizes the Attorney General to issue formal opinions to certain government officials on questions of law that relate to their duties. Officials authorized to request opinions include state legislators, statewide elected officials, state department heads and county prosecuting attorneys.
