Sean Astin is actively involved in many public causes including Education, Politics, the Environment, and the Arts.  He also supports individuals in their pursuit of careers in Entertainment and Sports.

He is an active supporter of The National Center for Family Literacy,  The Wildlife Waystation, and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.

Sean proudly served on the
President's Council on Service and Civic Participation.

He also faithfully served the Secretary of the Army as Civilian Aide (Southern California) from 1995-2005.
