You can be a Junior Ranger like Criss Carlson and earn badges and patches from many national park sites across the country.

Kids, stop by the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park visitor center in downtown Seattle and discover how you can become a Junior Ranger.

Ask for an activity booklet from the information desk. In it will be a list of things to see and do while you're at the park. It's easy and fun to be a Junior Ranger.

Discover how people who headed off to find gold carried 2000 pounds of supplies, survived temperatures down to 55 degrees below zero, and boated the Yukon River for 500 miles.

Would you have made this journey to discover gold?

Complete the activities in the booklet and be rewarded with a Klondike Gold Rush Junior Ranger Badge. The Junior Ranger program is available year-round.
