To support Sitka Fine Arts Camp. Professional artists from Alaska and other states will lead workshops offering age-appropriate training in Alaskan Native arts, dance, music, theater, writing, and visual arts.

Professional actors and producers will lead classes in the arts combined with rehearsals, culminating in student performances of Disney's High School Musical, Gerome Ragni and James Rado's Hair, and George Keating, Kyle Hall, and Scott Fergusen's Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr.

To support Summer Music Camp. Public schools students living in New York City's five boroughs will receive free classical music training with an emphasis on increased performance skills.

To support Center for Dance Footbridge Summer Intensive. Local professional dancers will offer nine weeks of sequential, pre-professional ballet, tap, and modern dance training to youth, ages nine to 18.

To support Youtheatre. During a five-week summer program, professional actors, musicians, choreographers, and stage designers will teach a team of youth, ages 13 to 19, key elements of theater which will result in the creation and perfromance of a new musical based on themes from their own lives.

To support a pre-college summer art program for students in the 11th and 12th grades. Students will enroll in four visual arts classes that they will attend daily during a four-week period.

To support the Pre-College MAJORS program, a visual and design course. Design professional will provide hands-on residencies for approximately 90 high school students.

To support the Summer Arts Apprenticeship Program. Targeted to underserved high school youth, the program will advance students' artistic and leadership skills through an intensive, three-month media arts studies program and apprenticeship with an adult.

Traveling Players Ensemble

To support Traveling Players Ensemble Summer Theatre Camp. Working in groups of 12 to 14 students, each ensemble of actors will produce and perform a classical theater piece by either Moliere or Shakespeare.

To support the Composition Immersion Course. Students, ages nine to 18, will develop skills in musicianship, music composition, and improvisation, and finish the five-week summer program by creating music compositions.

To support the summer performing arts program. Aspiring young actors, dancers, and musicians are immersed in a professional-level rehearsal and performance process that culminates with a production of the Broadway musical Carousel by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein.

To support a summer arts program for youth to study, design, and create Mardi Gras Indian costumes. Working with two revered Mardi Gras Indians, Big Chief Darryl Montana and Big Chief Larry Bannock, students will study diverse types of Native American dress and the inspirations for these costumes.
