The museum's wide-ranging collection of work by self-taught artists represents the vital contribution of African American artists to American culture.

The exhibition will include approximately 100 works on paper by America's leading artists, most notably Charles Burchfield, Charles Demuth, Arthur Dove, Edward Hopper, and John Marin.
