Learn UPS Driver\'s Tricks of the Driving Trade

Safety

Even as the company continues to increase its level of technological sophistication, UPS's primary job remains moving more than 15 million packages and documents a day. You're still more likely to find a UPS employee driving a package car, or sorting packages in a bustling hub, than behind a desk.

As a result, the company places a premium on safe driving and safe work methods. Whether it's the 4,648 drivers who have 25 years or more without an accident, or the 2,900 employees - led health and safety committees companywide, UPS has developed industry-leading safety training programs and safety equipment.

In this section, you'll learn more about our longstanding commitment to safe driving. For a detailed overview of UPS's safety initiatives, including facility work methods, employee committees and comprehensive training, visit the UPS Pressroom.
