Tee Ball at the White House

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area Little Brother Aaron Delaney Lucas sang the National Anthem at the White House Tee Ball game on June 26. Aaron is pictured here with his Big Brother, Ensign Hassan Brown (USN) at the White House - clearly Aaron was having a great time! On Sunday, June 26th, many local at-risk youth celebrated Tee Ball on the South Lawn with President Bush. The theme for the season opener was Helping America’s Youth. USA Freedom Corps invited mentors and mentees from the Darrell Green’s Youth Life Foundation, Joe Gibb’s Youth for Tomorrow, and the Baltimore YMCA. In addition, the Young Marines proudly presented our colors, “Little Brother” Aaron Lucas (pictured) sang the National Anthem while his “Big Brother” watched proudly, and the President recognized Jeomera Ayala of Youth for Tomorrow for her outstanding commitment to volunteer service.
