President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Randy Raggio upon arrival in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Raggio is a volunteer with Desire Street Academy. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States. He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Raggio, since March 2002.
