President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Audrey Browder upon arrival in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Monday, April 21, 2008. Browder is a volunteer with the Central City Partnership, the Holy Ghost Catholic Church and the Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States. He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Browder, since March 2002.
