President Bush to Recognize Sun City Couple for Dedication to Volunteer Service |

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Rita and Ruben Carroll upon arrival in Glendale, Arizona, on Monday, August 29, 2005. The Carrolls volunteer through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) at the City of El Mirage Senior Center. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush has met with nearly 450 individuals around the country, like the Carrolls, since March 2002.
