The USA Freedom Corps celebrated its one-year anniversary on January 30, 2003. President George W. Bush marked the anniversary by launching a new set of volunteer service action priorities, including a new mentoring initiative to foster youth achievement, forming a new President's Council on Service and Civic Participation, and publishing a new annual report.
